Nicklas Bendtner is once again in the news for the wrong reasons. The Danish international has been fined by his club for an Instagram post, reports Goal.com.
The 28-year old, who was left out of Wolfsburg’s squad for the Champions League tie with Belgian club AA Gent, took to Instagram to post a picture of himself standing next to a Mercedes S-class.
The photo, which was posted three days ago, didn’t go down well with the Bundesliga club, who are owned by rival car manufacturer Volkswagen.

The Bundesliga club has strict rules for its players and staff members regarding the usage of other brands. Employees of the club are not allowed to turn up at training in any vehicle other than Volkswagen.
The Dane has previously also run into trouble with the authorities for his behaviour. He was fined £80,000 and suspended for one international fixture after displaying his underwear with a sponsor’s name during the Euro 2012 fixture against Portugal.
