A Joel Campbell free-kick which hit a post was the closest either team came, as the Tigers ended a 14-game winning run in the competition for Arsenal, who have lifted the trophy for the past two seasons.
Las Palmas 1-2 Barcelona (Willian José 10; Suárez 6, Neymar 39)
It is eight Liga wins on the bounce for the Blaugrana, Luis Suárez opening the scoring with his 25th goal in 24 league games this season. The early lead lasted just four minutes before Neymar restored the advantage prior to half-time, leaving Luis Enrique's side nine points clear of second placed Atlético, who play Villarreal on Sunday. The Azulgrana are now 32 games without defeat in all competitions.

Bayern München 3- 1 Darmstadt (Müller 49 71, Lewandowski 84; Wagner 26)Bayern conceded in the first half of a Bundesliga match for the first time since November but managed to come from behind at the interval to see off the visitors. Thomas Müller, with two, and Robert Lewandowski both found the target to take their combined tally to 39 in the Bundesliga, the most ever by a strike partnership after 22 games of a German league season.
Paços Ferreira 1-3 Benfica (Diego Jota 23; Mitroglou 13, Jonas 45+2, Lindelöf 57)
Both members of the Eagles' deadly strike force were on target as Benfica drew level on points with Sporting CP at the summit for at least a couple of nights ahead of the Lions' meeting with Boavista on Monday. Kostas Mitroglou opened the scoring with his 13th of the league campaign and Jonas restored the advantage in first-half added time, notching his 23rd in just 24 games. Paris 4-1 Reims (Van der Wiel 12, Ibrahimović 43 68, Cavani 45+1; Oniangué 34)
Paris Saint-Germain continue to dominate all comers in Ligue 1, beating Reims 4-1 to make it 22 wins in their last 24 fixtures in all competitions. Zlatan Ibrahimović's two goals took his tally to 23 in 21 league games this season. Laurent Blanc's side remain 24 points clear at the top of the table and have still lost only once in all competitions this season.
PSV Eindhoven 2-0 Heracles (Pröpper 3, Pereiro 45pen)
PSV refused to give rivals Ajax the chance to usurp them at the top of the Eredivisie this weekend, with a professional success against fourth-placed Heracles. Davy Pröpper's calm outside-of-the-foot finish put the hosts into an early lead and Gastón Pereiro rubber-stamped the victory seconds before the interval to ensure an eighth successive league win.

Dieter Hecking's charges remain eighth in the Bundesliga after being held in the capital. The Wolves, who have won their last three UEFA Champions League fixtures, have picked up just one victory in their last nine games in the German top flight. Marcel Schäfer gave them a 53rd-minute lead at Hertha, but the hosts, up to third, equalised on the hour through Salomon Kalou.
