Buddies: Pietersen was unhappy at Wright's omission
Kevin Pietersen has posted on Twitter to show his dismay at England's World T20 squad - but not about his own omission. The former England batsman was not impressed to see his Melbourne Stars teammate Luke Wright omitted from the 15-man party to travel to India.
Pietersen pointed to James Vince's selection in the tweet, insinuating he would have selected Wright over the Hampshire man.
He tweeted: "Vince and not Luke Wright in England's T20 squad," followed by several laughing faces.

Pietersen sarcastically then replied to a tweet which brought up the
subject of his own omission from the squad, saying: "I told the ECB I
needed a break in March. Big Bash, PSL, a break in March then IPL. They
understood!"The surprise inclusion in the squad was spinner Liam Dawson, who replaces Chris Woakes in the party which will take on South Africa later in the current tour.
The 25-year-old has been regularly taking wickets against Pakistan A in Dubai and could get his chance when the Three Lions head to India next month.

Inclusion: Dawson has made the squad
Coach Trevor Bayliss told reporters of Dawson: "I went to one or two
of their practices and saw him in the nets. From a bowling point of
view, he gets a bit on the ball, and he looks as though he's got
something about him personality-wise.
"He can bat as well, and he's a good fielder apparently."
And he added that there was never a chance of Pietersen returning.
"He wasn't even discussed in the selection meeting," he said.
