Roberto Martinez is on the short-list to replace Roberto Mancini as Inter Milan head coach, according to a report in Italy.And the Serie A giant could also fight Chelsea for Diego Simeone if former Manchester City boss Mancini fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Inter Milan sit in fourth place and face a crucial match against third-placed Fiorentina this weekend.
But the 2010 Champions League winners, now owned by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir, are already drawing up contingency plans for the next campaign even though Mancini is under contract until 2017.
