Manchester City are set to give Manuel Pellegrini the perfect send-off by winning a third Premier League title - according to Football Manager.
The computer game has simulated the rest of the Premier League season to see what will happen - and it has the Chilean's Blues top of the pile after 38 games.
Victory on the penultimate fixture of the season over Arsenal turns out to be the knockout blow, with Sergio Aguero netting another seven goals between now and the end of the season.
The
Gunners finish second in front of current table-toppers Leicester,
whose fairytale season ends with a Champions League spot in third place.
Jamie
Vardy hits another eight goals before the season is out, keeping the
Foxes in touch with the top before defeats against Sunderland, West Ham
and Swansea kill their title charge.

the top four.
Aston Villa remain rooted to the bottom despite
victories over Everton and Southampton. Sunderland and Bournemouth also
drop to the Championship.
Liverpool pip Everton to seventh, while Chelsea's miraculous rise has them sixth, level on points with fifth-placed Manchester United who finish just a point outside the top four.

The Blues only drop points to Norwich in their final 15 games of the campaign.
Hull
City and Middlesbrough return to the Premier League by finishing first
and second in the Championship, while Burnley, Derby, Brighton and
Cardiff fight it out in the playoffs.
MK Dons, Rotherham and
Bolton drop to League One, while Bristol City, Preston and Blackburn
finish just a point above the bottom three.
