German soccer club Bayern Munich have announced a three-year partner sponsorship with global consumer goods company, Proctor and Gamble (P&G).
The three-year deal will focus predominantly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and will concentrate on four specific P&G brands to begin with - Gillette, Braun, Head & Shoulders and Oral-B.
Former Bayern player and current chief executive officer of Bayern, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said of the deal: “P&G, as the leading player in the consumer goods market, fits very well to Bayern Munich. We have a success and quality standard as well, and try to confirm our top position in German and international football every season.”

German international and a product of Bayern's youth system Thomas Müller has had a personal endorsement deal in place with Gillette for a long time while Manuel Neuer, Germany and Bayern’s goalkeeper, has recently been announced as the new face of Head & Shoulders.
