Lyon, Wolfsburg on course for UWCL final rematch

Lyon and Wolfsburg are well on their way to another meeting in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final after huge first-leg wins in Sunday’s semifinals.

Lyon hammered French rival PSG, 7-0 in Lyon on Sunday to etch their name in the final. Ada Hegerberg and Eugenie Le Sommer each had a brace for Lyon, who led 5-0 at halftime. Louisa Necib scored a stunning goal in the second half, three minutes before Lotta Schelin scored Champions League goal No. 40 for Lyon, tying the record for most by a player for a single club.
