Ed Vickers-Willis and Dan Nielson could make their long-awaited returns this weekend.
Nielson has spent the past year recovering from a knee reconstruction, while Vickers-Willis underwent a second shoulder reconstruction following a pre-season training incident in Utah.
North Director of Football Geoff Walsh said the duo is in line to play in the VFL Development League.

“Both Dan and Ed have been really diligent in their rehab and assuming they train well for the rest of this week, they could play on Sunday,” Walsh told NMFC.com.au.
“We’ve been impressed with their determination and maturity and look forward to seeing them back in action.”
With his comeback game imminent, 20-year-old Vickers-Willis will be returned to the senior list with Farren Ray set to be placed back on the rookie list.
