Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang believes Liverpool will win the Europa League this season.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Aubameyang has also admitted that he still can't believe the Reds eliminated his side from the competition at the quarter-final stage.
With a 4-2 aggregate lead, Dortmund were in cruise control on Merseyside until Jurgen Klopp's side produced a remarkable comeback.
The Reds sealed their place in the last four in stoppage time and Aubameyang has admitted that it was an 'unbelievable' contest.
Unsurprisingly, the striker, who has netted on 23 occasions in 28 Bundesliga outings this term, has paid tribute to his former manager, claiming that Klopp was a factor in the result.

Aubameyang has his say
The striker stated: "Look, it was a very nice game I think for the people because we play there and it was an unbelievable game because we was winning 2-0, and then 3-1, and then they came back like 'wow I can't believe it'."Even until now I can't believe it because it's unbelievable but we knew that Liverpool can do this.
"We was like this (holds up a tiny gap between his finger and thumb) to go to semi-final but sometimes the football is like this."For sure I think Jurgen Klopp was a factor. When we played here in Dortmund everybody was speaking about him after that [and] I think because he knew us... I think normally if we do more pressing it would be good.
"They [Liverpool] have something special and I think Jurgen Klopp brings this energy. They can win every time - also when they lose, they can come back and they have something special. I think. That's why I say they can win the Europa league for sure."
Aubameyang is right
It's difficult to disagree with Aubameyang's notion at this stage. Liverpool's run in the competition under Klopp has been truly magnificent. After eliminating Manchester United and Dortmund, there's absolutely no reason why the club won't go all the way. Spanish outfit Villarreal won't be an easy task for the club, but Klopp's side should relish the challenge.
If the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and co. hit top form, then they should be too good for their opponents. It appears to be their year in the Europa League.
