Marco Reus forgot the Golden Rule about Twitter: Nothing you tweet can be permanently deleted.
Bayern Munich fell 0-1
in Spain to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions
League Semifinal. While many fans of opposition clubs had no issues
sharing their glee over Bayern dropping a game, a player from one of
Bayern's biggest rivals mocking the Bavarians was sure to stand out.
Marco Reus jumped on Twitter to share his opinion. His tweet said "How percentages of won duels can outclass everything. Except for the result." with a crazy smiley emoji.

Reus's tweet didn't last long, but Sport1 was there to screenshot it before he deleted it. What caused him to delete it?
Perhaps, Reus remembered Borussia Dortmund's
humiliating collapse and elimination from this season's Europa League
at the hands of Liverpool? Maybe he remembered that he has a DFB Pokal
Final to play against this same Bayern team in a month and didn't want
to give them any more inspiration to beat BVB again.
