Pep Guardiola will join Manchester City as a champion after leading Bayern Munich to an unprecedented fourth consecutive Bundesliga title.

Bayern only needed to avoid defeat to have been all-but-officially named champions, but Guardiola 's men went one better, beating Ingolstadt 2-1.

Bayern showed no signs of a European hangover after their midweek Champions League exit as Robert Lewandowski fired them to a 2-0 lead after little over half an hour.

Moritz Hartmann pulled one back for the hosts from the spot, but the Bavarians managed to see out the game and seal their 26th German title.

The outgoing manager yesterday complained about members of his dressing room working against him, with allegations that he was unhappy about his medical team taking too long to get his players fit.

Guardiola said: "Usually what happens inside the dressing room remains inside the dressing room.

"But I'm not here next season anyway so it's not my problem, but Bayern's. It's happened plenty of times over these past three years.

"It's normal for me to talk to my players and staff and give them my opinion, but there are people here who are talking because they want to hurt me.

"Maybe this person will still be here next season and clearly they haven't realised that they are not damaging me, but the club and the team."
The title win may reopen the debate as to just how successful Guardiola's tenure at the Allianz Arena has been.

While he has won the title in each of his three seasons, he never made it past the semi-finals in the Champions League.
Guardiola will join Man City on July 1 after agreeing a contract with the Blues in February this year .
