- Chelsea increased shirt sales by 39 per cent this season
- The west London club pass Manchester United, with over 3m shirts sold
- Arsenal are also in the top 10, but Barcelona lead the way
Chelsea
sell more replica shirts worldwide than any other Premier League club,
but the west Londoners still lag behind Barcelona and Bayern Munich in
global shirt sales.
Manchester
United may be a leading global brand, but they are behind Chelsea in
fourth, while Champions League finalists Real Madrid round off the top
five.
The
Premier League has three teams in the top 10, with Arsenal joining
Chelsea and United, matching La Liga, which sees Atletico Madrid
alongside Real and Barca.

With the likes of Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in their side, Barcelona continue to be the world leaders
Despite failing to defend the Champions League, Barca are on course for another La liga title this season
It is a
huge increase for Chelsea, whose sales have grown by almost 40 per cent
despite a poor season defending their Premier League title.
United also saw a large increase - of almost 35 per cent - but have slipped behind Chelsea in the rankings.

The
figures, put together by sports marketing company Euromericas, show
that Barcelona lead the way with 3.6m shirts sold between the start of
the season and April this year.
With
stars like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar leading them towards
another La Liga title, the reigning European champions are the world's
most marketable club.
Bayern,
who have just sealed a fourth consecutive Bundesliga, are 300,000
behind them, with Chelsea in third, having sold comfortably over 3m
shirts themselves.
Serie
A champions Juventus also made the top 10, but the next best Italian
side, AC Milan, have not won the title since 2011, and are currently
seventh in the table, set to miss out on Champions League football for a
third season in a row.
Dominant
French champions PSG are the only Ligue 1 side in the highest 10 shirt
sellers, with their 2.2m sales keeping them just ahead of Arsenal in
sixth place.
