The championship triumph in figures

Four championship triumphs in a row is an unprecedented achievement in the Bundesliga! FC Bayern have set numerous records in this season's domestic league campaign. fcbayern.de has delved into the facts and figures and looks back on the season.

The 2015/16 campaign in figures

3 – Pep Guardiola is the first coach in Bundesliga history to win the championship in each of his first three seasons. Only Udo Lattek (1972-74 and 1985-87) and Ottmar Hitzfeld (1999-01) masterminded three consecutive Bundesliga titles before, both with Bayern.

4 – FC Bayern is the first club to win four championship titles in a row, from 2013 to 2016.

5 – The German record champions won the so-called 'autumn championship' for the fifth time on the bounce. No other Bundesliga side has won the unofficial accolade as many consecutive times.

6 to 8 – Robert Lewandowski scored no fewer than nine goals from Matchday 6 to Matchday 8. No other Bundesliga player has netted as often in a three-game spell.

7 – Lewandowski scored seven league goals for Bayern in a row, equalling Gerd Müller's record set in May 1973.

8 – Philipp Lahm won his seventh German championship title. One more would see the Bayern skipper equal the record set by Bastian Schweinsteiger, Oliver Kahn and Mehmet Scholl.

9 – Five goals in nine minutes: Lewandowski's sensational yield in the 5-1 victory over Wolfsburg on Matchday 6. It was the fastest five-goal haul in league history.

10 – The German record champions won all their first 10 matches of the Bundesliga season. No other team has ever achieved that.

17 – FCB conceded only 17 goals this season, surpassing the previous best mark set by themselves in 2012/13 and 2014/15.

20 – What a strike duo! Robert Lewandowski scored 30 goals, and Thomas Müller netted 20 times this season. It is the first time two FCB pros have scored 20 or more goals in a Bundesliga season.

23 – David Alaba celebrated his fifth German championship at the age of 23. No other player has achieved this feat so early (Mario Götze is two weeks older and also celebrated his fifth championship this term).

30 – Robert Lewandowski is the first Bundesliga player in 39 years to score 30 goals. Furthermore, the Poland striker is the first non-German player to score 30 goals in a Bundesliga season.

56 – Bayern were unbeaten between November 2012 and November 2015 in 56 matches staged in the first half of a season, a new league record.

71 – Bayern finished with an average of 71 percent of the possession this term.

80 – Munich scored 80 goals this season, the same tally as last year.

82 – Pep Guardiola leaves the Bundesliga boasting 82 victories in 102 matches. His win rate of 80 percent is the best in Bundesliga history. And Bayern took an average of 2.52 points per game under Guardiola, another best mark.

88 – 88 percent of FCB’s passes found a team-mate this term, easily the highest pass completion rate in the league.

1018 – Bayern wrapped up their 1000th Bundesliga victory in the 4-0 win over Köln on Matchday 10. The Bavarians have gone on to take their current tally to 1018 victories in the German top flight.
