The Brazilian midfielder is already enjoying life in China...
When it was announced that Ramires was moving to the Chinese Super League last month, we think it's fair to say that the majority of Chelsea fans were seriously surprised. At only 28 years of age and with a Champions League win to his name, the attraction of mid-table Jiangsu Suning was not immediately apparent. Indeed, apart from the obvious cash incentive, many seem to think it's the weirdest move the Premier League has witnessed for some time.
Weird or not, Ramires will now have to make the best of his transfer to East China. If this clip is anything to go by, he's started as he means to go on.
Making his debut for Jiangsu in a friendly with Anzhi Makhachkala, the Brazilian midfielder opened the scoring with a sweet volley on the 35 minute mark. Collecting a cross from the right, he slotted acrobatically home on the turn.
If he continues to score sweet goals like this, he'll quickly become a firm favourite with his new supporters.
