Danny Rose has enjoyed an excellent campaign for Tottenham Hotspur, and looks like to start for England at Euro 2016.
Kyle Walker has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official site that he feels that Danny Rose is finally getting the praise he deserves.
Rose has enjoyed a wonderful campaign at Spurs, and he has become regarded as one of the finest left-backs in the Premier League.
Rose’s excellent form forced him into the England team for Euro 2016, and it seems that he has a good chance of starting at the international tournament.
Rose recently was handed the Man of the Match award, after England’s friendly against Turkey, which the Three Lions won 2-1.
And Walker said: "It’s always fantastic to get the Man of the Match award and Danny is now getting the praise he deserves for his performances for both club and country.
"But it was more about preparing as a team for such an important tournament.”
Rose is competing with Southampton’s Ryan Betrand for a place in Hodgson’s side at left-back.
It seems likely that Rose will get the nod for England’s first game of Euro 2016 in Russia, as Bertrand is currently out injured.
The Saints full-back has not trained with the England squad yet, as he races to get back to fitness.
Rose and Walker are part of a quintet of Tottenham players in the England squad - with Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Harry Kane also involved.
