The 31-year-old has penned a two-year contract with the club, who
achieved promotion into the second tier last season. Antenucci spent two
seasons at Elland Road, scoring 19 goals in the process.

It was reported recently that Reading have offered Antenucci a ‘substantial’ deal
to lure the player to the Madejski Stadium. Many more clubs had also
been linked to his signing, including a few more English clubs such as
Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic.
Prior to his time at Leeds, Antenucci played his football in Italia
with several clubs. He can count the likes of Catania, Torino, Venezia
and Ascoli as former clubs of his.
He was released from his Leeds United contract and took to social media to confirm that he was leaving.
In his farewell speech, the Italian spoke of the incredible experience
he had in English football. After his daughter was born in the UK,
Antenucci said ‘I feel a little English in me’ and said that the Leeds
fans ‘deserve the best’.
