Napoli are insistently trying to sign Monaco's Fabinho now that Sassuolo's Sime Vrsaljko is not an option.
The Neroverde full-back was the first choice for the Partenopei, but his move to Atletico Madrid appears to be all but official now.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A club is now pressing for Monaco's Fabinho.
The Brazilian's agent Jorge Mendes met the club yesterday to discuss a
potential sale. Napoli are willing to offer €12-13m plus Juan Zuniga,
but they are also open to negotiating a cash-only deal.
Should Fabinho not be available, the Italians will probably turn to Club Brugge's Thomas Meunier.
