» Leeds United sack coach Steve Evans, Manchester United target rules out Malmö FF return, and the most ridiculous own goal competition continues in Austria

six bosses since taking over in 2014.
2. Jon Whitney has been appointed the permanent manager of League One
side Walsall after guiding them to the playoffs during his stint as
caretaker boss. Whitney has been at the Bescott Stadium for 13 years.

FF, claiming he is ‘too good for the Swedish league’. He is now odds on
to sign for Manchester United after Euro 2016.

be named as the next Aston Villa manager in the next 48 hours, according
to reports.

good during former Everton defender Joseph Yobo’s testimonial. Well, he
is so good that they named him twice… (Mirror).

score the most ridiculous own goal’ competition. It’s a contender, but
Jamie Pollock is still favourite (WhoAteAllThePies).

thoroughly decent guy he is. He still went out of his way to sign
autographs for fans, despite having just been told he’d be left out of
the squad for France (Joe.ie).
10. And finally… Alan Shearer has revealed how Gazza woke the rest of
the England squad up every day during Euro ’96 by playing the song
“Three Lions” as loudly as he could (BBC).
