The Carthage Eagles reached the last eight after trouncing the Mena in their final Group C match at the African Nations Championship

Tunisia eased past Niger 5-0 to earn the maximum three points and reach the quarter finals of the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda on Tuesday, as Guinea eliminated Nigeria in the other game of Group C.
Saad Dguir’s brace put the Carthage Eagles in the lead in the first half. The midfielder netted his first in the fifth minute and the other in the 39th.
The second half saw the Tunisians dominate the game with three more goals added to their tally.
On resumption of the second half, Niger's Youssouf Alio given a red card after two warnings by the referee.
Ahmed Akaichi got on the score sheet as well, with two more goals from Ben Amor and Hichem Essifi.
The result puts Tunisia top of Group C with five points and they would face the runner up in Group D that will be decided on Wednesday.
Guinea defeated Nigeria 1-0 in the other game to finish in second place as the Super Eagles were eliminated in the preliminary round for the first time since they made their debut in 2014.
The quarter finals will be decided on 30th and 31st of January in Kigali and Gisenyi Stadiums respectively.
