Watford are willing to pay £3million for Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair, according to reports in the Daily Star.
Sinclair wants to leave Anfield with his contract set to expire in the summer.
The forward, who scored in Liverpool 1-1 draw with Exeter earlier this month, believes he will be given more first team chances at Vicarage Road.

Newcastle keeper tracked

Newcastle goalkeeper Fred Woodman is being watched by Liverpool, according to Chronicle Live.
The England Under-19 international was called back to Newcastle after a loan stint at Crawley Town last year following injuries to Tim Krul and Karl Darlow.
However, he was back in action for Newcastle’s Under-21s this week and was watched by an FA talent scout who took in the Magpies' 3-1 defeat against Derby County.
The Chronicle also understands that Liverpool have been alerted to Woodman’s progress and the fact he is yet to sign a new contract at St James' Park.

Reds told they must pay £53million for Teixeira

Shakhtar Donetsk chief executive Sergei Palkin has told Liverpool to forget about signing Alex Teixeira this month - warning that if the Reds desperately want him, they better be prepared to meet his buyout clause of £53.3million, writes Mirror Football's Aaron Flanagan.
Speaking on TV programme Football 1, Palkin said: “Liverpool stopped at the amount of €32million and €4million bonus.
“This is the last number that was announced. Our position is that we do not want to sell Teixeira today.
“We will sell him only at the end of the season. We need to show serious results in the Europa League and the Ukrainian championship.
"At the end of the season we will sit down at the negotiating table.
“Teixeira has a compensation clause in his contract and the price is €70million. Please, if someone is going to trigger that, let him come and declare himself."

Youngsters to be given FA Cup chance again

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will refuse to run his players into the ground... because they’re doing that themselves, writes Mirror Football's David Maddock.
The German coach revealed he will pick a “young team” in the FA Cup against West Ham this evening, because his exhausted players posted record numbers for distance covered in an epic, intense cup semi this week.

Klopp explained that in all his years as manager, he’s rarely come across any team running as far as the 156km the Reds covered in the Capital One tie with Stoke , and because of that, he insisted, he won’t bury them.
“I can’t ignore the other games, I can’t say try it again. If they are injured we cannot use them and if we know about the intensity of the last game and the short break to the next one I can’t say go again until you lay on the ground,” he explained.
“It will be a different team, for sure, to the last game. We have no other choice. We ran 156 kilometres against Stoke and a few players that ran 17 kilometres in this game, the highest speed ever and breaking all records for distance covered."

Klopp: Sturridge ISN'T close to return

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Daniel Sturridge still has “no chance” of returning any time soon, writes Mirror Football's David Maddock.
The Liverpool striker was earmarked for a game against West Ham in the FA Cup tomorrow, when his manager explained almost two weeks ago he would play again after completing 10 days of uninterrupted training.
But despite suggestions from the England forward's team-mates that Sturridge is on the verge of a comeback, Klopp reported the glum news in his pre-match press conference that the star has been hit with injury worries again, missing more training.

“Sturridge is still working. Sometimes it is better, sometimes it is a bit worse because of other issues. That is all. He has done a lot of sessions in the last few weeks but it is always interrupted with a few breaks,” he explained.
“He needs consistency in the sessions and that’s what we try to do. His injury history means this is normal. It is not coincidence. Some things are not right if you are injured that often. We have to be really sensitive with all the information we get. That is what we try to do.
“We’re trying to find a point from which we can train and build up fitness. He could do a lot of sessions in the last few weeks, but like I said they have always been interrupted with a few different issues where we always have to see and wait on what happens. That is how it is.”

Matip blow

German side Schalke are refusing to give up on keeping Liverpool target Joel Matip in Gelsenkirchen, writes Mirror Football's Alex Richards.
The Cameroon international, 24, is out of contract at the Veltins Arena this summer, and is expected to leave for a new challenge.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the defender - dating back to his days at Schalke’s rivals, Borussia Dortmund - and the Reds are confident that Matip will be lining up for them next season.

Suggestions that Matip could move to Anfield before the end of the season have been dismissed however, with Schalke already ruling out a sale in the coming days.
Schalke’s general manager Horst Heldt has revealed that his side are still hopeful they can persuade Matip to continue his 16-year association with the club.
Matip’s agent is set to meet with Schalke officials in the coming days and Heldt said: “We have agreed to an appointment [with the player’s advisor] which will take place soon.
“I remain in good spirits and I hope that we can convince Joel to stay at Schalke.”
