The draw in early December raised excitement levels and was swiftly followed by the current, second phase of ticket sales on EURO2016.com – with 800,000 tickets reserved for supporters of the 24 teams. Since then, fans of more than 170 nationalities have applied for tickets for what promises to be a spectacular tournament in France.
Each of the competing teams has a dedicated portal, while a public portal that allows fans to apply for any match in each of the ten host cities can also be accessed by anyone here. Since last week, fans have also been able to see directly in the ticketing portal which matches and categories are in high demand, helping them to optimise their chances of being allocated tickets.
Tickets are not allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so the time of application has no impact on the possibility of getting tickets. However, supporters are encouraged to apply now and not at the last minute to avoid queuing on the site. They will be notified of the outcome of their applications by the end of February at the latest.
The ticket types available are single tickets, Follow My Team packages and accessibility tickets, all including conditional knockout stage games. A refund for knockout stage tickets is guaranteed for fans whose sides do not qualify, meaning that they can apply risk-free.

The ticket portals mentioned are for individual applicants only. For information about Corporate VIP hospitality, which delivers premium seating with fine dining in the stadium, please visit the UEFA EURO 2016 hospitality website.
