Football- Jack Wilshere- Jack Wilshere in race to be fit for Euro 2016 with Arsenal midfielder unlikely to return until March

The England man is still some way off being fit to return for the Arsenal first team and is a doubt for a spot in Roy Hodgson's squad

Doubt: Wilshere may miss the tournament this summer

Jack Wilshere is facing a race to be fit for the Euros.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed England midfielder Wilshere is not expected to return until mid-March.
That leaves the clock ticking ahead of the European Championships this summer as Wilshere is desperate to make the England squad.
But Wenger revealed Wilshere - who suffered a broken leg in August - is still some distance away from being fit to return for the first team.
It is a blow for Arsenal as everyone bar Wilshere and Santi Cazorla are now either back in full training or on their way back.

Danny Welbeck is also closing in on a return after being out since last April with a knee injury.
Wenger said: “Santi is still not outside. Santi is end of March. Jack is starting to run.
“Once you move out, from the first day you count six weeks to be competitive and build up stamina and intensity. You need six weeks to be ready fitness-wise.”
