Former Lady Lions Volleyball Player Dies From Car Accident Injuries
FORT SMITH (KFSM) — The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Athletic Department announced that former volleyball player Jordan Erz has died.
Erz was involved in a car accident last week, the athletic department stated.
The official Facebook page for UAFS Basketball released the following statement:
“Tough day for our #UAFSfamily as former Uafs Lions VB player Jordan Erz has passed away after a hard fought battle to recover from a tragic car accident last week. Our support goes out to her family, and her extended UAFS family here in Fort Smith. #IAmALion”
Erz played for the Lady Lions for three seasons. Before transferring to UAFS, she played her freshman years for the University of Arkansas- Little Rock. Her hometown is Carleton, Michigan.
