According to the documents leaked, Arsenal paid-£36m-less than what they quoted -£42.5m- for the midfielder.
The transfer fee we learnt from the leaked document was paid three instalments over two years.
Arsenal will have to pay a further €1m every season they qualify for the Champions League for the first six years of Ozil is at the club.
Till date the Arsenal have paid €2m due to that agreement.
Madrid however have a buy-back option which was inserted to stop the midfielder from joining another La-Liga club.
Should Arsenal agree a fee with a Spanish team, for Ozil, the north London side will have to inform Real Madrid.
The Madrid giants have 48 hours to match or better the offer.
If
they opt out from signing Ozil and he is sold to a Spanish team, Real
Madrid in that contract inserted a sell-on clause that states that they
will get a huge 33% percent of any profit made by Arsenal.
Till date the Arsenal have paid €2m due to that agreement.
