The clash between VfB Stuttgart and SV Werder Bremen is not only the 15th Monday evening game in the history of the Bundesliga, it’s also the 100th meeting of the two clubs. Jürgen Kramny and his men got preparations going for the clash with the 17th placed side in the table with a brief training camp. Upon their return to Stuttgart, the coach spoke of „"highly concentrated and hard work" and "the complete focus on the sporting elements" over the past few days.

"Make it on our own"
VfB will also still be without the long-term injured Daniel Ginczek and Serey Dié, who are both in rehabilitation training. Both will be in the stadium on Monday evening to fire on their team mates from the stands. As has generally been the case most recently, Przemyslaw Tyton will again between the posts against Bremen, "because we firmly believe Titi we give us the stability that we need."
The current situation in the table is not something which Jürgen Kramny is paying significant attention to at the moment. "Our situation hasn’t changed much since Saturday. We can still make it out on our own strength, but to do that, we need points in the three remaining games. And that’s exactly how we will be going about them," insisted the 44-year-old, adding: "I am quite sure we will be very present. It will be about taking on the fight with every fibre of our bodies."
The VfB fans bid farewell to the team on Sunday with an "exceptional gesture", as Jürgen Kramny commented. At the end of the final pre-match training session, a fan march from Cannstatt Railway Station arrived at the VfB training grounds. "I hope that gives our team an additional push," commented Jürgen Kramny.
