Poland head into their final Euro 2016 Group C game on Tuesday evening knowing only victory can haul them to the summit.
After holding world champions Germany at the Stade de France on Thursday evening, the Poles can make sure of second spot with a draw against the group's strugglers Ukraine.
Poland will increase their chances of a favourable draw if they top the group, but unfancied Northern Ireland must hold or defeat the Germans in Group C's other game to give Adam Nawałka's side any chance.
Opponents Ukraine, meanwhile, cannot progress to the knouckout stages. Group C's basement club have failed to register a point in their opening two matches, losing 2-0 twice, and even victory allied with defeat to Northern Ireland would see them crash out based on their head-to-head record.
But what else is there to know ahead of the final round of Group C matches?
