Czech Republic vs Turkey Euro 2016 Group D preview: Prediction, team news, live, TV, permutations and betting odds

The Czech Republic will be hoping to book their place in the last 16 of Euro 2016 with a win over Turkey on Tuesday night, with everything still left to play for in Group D.

Pavel Vrba's side kept their dreams of qualifying for the knockout rounds of the tournament alive when they came from two goals down to secure an improbable 2-2 draw with Croatia on Friday - shortly after crowd trouble and flares on the pitch caused the game to be halted.

The Czech Republic are likely to be lifted from that result, and will now feel confident going into their final group game with Turkey, who have lost all their matches in France so far.

Fatih Terim's men first lost their opening game with Croatia 1-0 before conceding three times to holders Spain and, with zero points on the board, Turkey must beat the Czech Republic to have any chance of progressing to the last 16.

Team news and probable line ups

Vrba has been handed a huge blow following the news that Tomas Rosicky is out of Euro 2016 with a thigh injury that he sustained in the draw with Croatia, but the former Arsenal midfielder has confirmed he will remain in France to support his teammates.

There are, however, no other major injuries to report from the Czech Republic camp although Vrba confirmed he will make three to four changes against Turkey.

Meanwhile, Terim could recall Nuri Sahin to his starting line-up.

Czech Republic possible starting XI: Cech, Kaderabek, Sivok, Hubnik, Limbersky, Plasil, Darida, Skalak, Dockal, Krejci, Lafata

Turkey possible starting XI: Babacan, Gonul, Topal, Balta, Erkin, Tufan, Inan, Ozyakup, Calhanoglu, Yilmaz, Turan.

What they're saying

Czech Republic coach Vrba: "I'd be careful using the word miracle. We managed to get one point [against Croatia], which is very important for us.

"We'll play for everything in the last match. It wasn't going well, but we've given ourselves a spark of hope to get out of the group.

"There will be changes in my starting XI. Not only because of Tomáš Rosický’s injury but also because of some of the performances in the game against Croatia. I am going to make 3-4 changes."

Turkey coach Terim: "Today our national team threw in the towel. You can be sure that I will never accept this. On behalf of my team I am deeply upset. I will do the necessary thing."

"It was not good to see Arda booed by our fans. No coach would want to be in that situation. Arda is one of our most important players. This should not happen. Nobody deserves it. The way they booed Arda had an impact on our team."
