Arsenal round-up: Vardy comments on Gunners move; Guardiola wants Bellerin

VardyArsenal have made just one signing ahead of next season so far, with midfielder Granit Xhaka joining from Borussia Monchengladbach.

There will surely be further arrivals at the club this summer, with manager Arsene Wenger determined to ensure that his side can challenge for the Premier League title.

 

Turkish side Besiktas are interested in signing Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy on loan. The Frenchman spent the second half of the 2015/16 campaign with Bordeaux and could seek a permanent move away from the Gunners this summer, with his prospects of re-establishing himself as a regular looking rather bleak. Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has revealed that he has found it easy to shut out speculation surrounding him. The England international is currently representing his country at Euro 2016 and won’t make a decision on his future until after the tournament. Arsenal activated the release clause in Vardy’s contract a fortnight ago, but it remains to be seen whether he will make the move. (Daily Star)

Juventus are interested in signing Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez. The 27-year-old is currently representing Chile at the Copa America and is one of Arsenal’s star players, but the Italian side are reportedly preparing an offer in an attempt to lure him to Serie A.
