Our Dutch winger has been side-lined with a stubborn hamstring injury for the last two months and it doesn`t, sadly, look as if the problem will have healed sufficiently for the player to play his part in what will be a thrilling end to the season.
The Dutchman, talking about his situation, hasn`t given up all hopes of making an appearance before the end of the season though, remarking to the media,
"I'm not as far as I'd like, or as I should be. But I'll keep it up and fight for a comeback, looking to play a role before the season is over."
