Newly-appointed
Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery is expected to wrap up his first
signing within the next 48 hours by returning to former club Sevilla
for £34million Poland Euro 2016 midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Emery's
brief in Paris is to win the Champions League and Krychowiak has been a
major part in Sevilla winning back-to-back Europa League titles,
beating Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in the final in May.
Arsenal
were also interested in the 26-year-old holding midfielder before
Arsene Wenger eventually opted for Granit Xhaka of Borussia
Monchengladbach.

Emery has recently succeeded Laurent Blanc at PSG, who left the French capital after three years as manager of the club.
Blanc
oversaw a trophy-laden tenure, winning Ligue 1 every season, but failed
to progress beyond the quarter-final in the Champions League.
Krychowiak
was part of the Poland side which reached the quarter-final of Euro 2016
before they were beaten on penalties by Portugal.
The
26-year-old started his career in France with Bordeaux. He had loan
spells with Reims and Nantes, signing a permanent deal with the former
in 2012.
Emery left Sevilla to take over the French giants and knows all about Krychowiak's capabilities
Laurent Blanc departed as PSG manager in the summer after three years in the role
He
spent two years with the club before Sevilla swooped and he made his
debut in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup final against Real Madrid in Cardiff,
which Madrid won 2-0.
Krychowiak also scored in Sevilla's 3-2 victory over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the 2015 Europa League final.
