Nicola Leali heading to Aston Villa isn't a new one, we heard rumours of
this last week but a fresh one of an incoming player to Juventus is
seeing us linked with Chelsea's Nemanja Matic.
Leali heading away
from Juve next season once again would make sense, the question was
would this be a permanent exit from the Bianconeri or another loan spell
like the season-long loan he had with Frosinone last term?
We now know, if the reports in the Sun are correct, a season-long loan deal is on the cards.
It
has been said talks have opened with the Championship side to see the
'keeper join Villa to work with former Italian international Roberto Di
Matteo next season with the Old Lady keen on him getting some more
first-team experience as the 23-year-old is seen as a player with
promise for the future.
As for the possible arrival of Serbian
international Matic (too offer us some added defensive strength in the
middle of the part) Sportitalia has claimed Beppe Marotta is 'working
behind the scenes' on a deal to sign the Chelsea midfielder.
€20m
is 'on the table' to the Premier League side for the 27-year-old with
him being looked at to add competition to Claudio Marchisio and Sami
Khedira, who have both had some injury problems during their time in
Turin.
Having missed out on Javier Mascherano, who isn't leaving
Barcelona, with Matic a similar player to the Argentine midfielder he
could make an interesting alternative option couldn't he?
