Real Madrid are interested in signing Hugo Lloris from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.

It has been reported that the France international goalkeeper is a £35 million target for Spanish and European giants.

The 29-year-old has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2012 and has a contract with the Premier League outfit until June 2019, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

According to The Mirror, Spurs do not want Lloris to leave in the summer transfer window and want him to sign an extension to his current contract.

It has also been reported that the former Lyon goalkeeper has spoken to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy about a new deal, and that talks will continue after the 2016 European Championship.

Impossible to turn down?

While Tottenham are a big club in England and will play in the Champions League next season, an offer from Madrid could be almost impossible for Lloris to turn down.

Madrid are the biggest club in the world and also won the Champions League last season.

The Spanish powerhouse would be able to pay Lloris whatever wage he wants, and Tottenham would get a very good transfer fee (£35m, as reported by The Mirror).
