Ander Herrera has wished Ryan Giggs well as the club legend finally confirmed his exit from Manchester United.
The Spaniard took to Twitter to wish Giggs luck in the future, also describing him as a "football legend".
Alongside a picture of himself and Giggs, Herrera wrote: "It has been a great honor to learn from such a football legend like you. I wish you all the best."
The tweet actually came around an hour BEFORE the club officially confirmed the news on Saturday afternoon.
Giggs, 42, took the decision to leave Old Trafford after being told he would not become assistant boss to new manager Jose Mourinho.

The role of assistant coach has instead gone to Mourinho's trusted lieutenant Rui Faria.
Giggs was disappointed that United went back on what he saw as a gentleman's agreement which would see him succeed previous boss Louis van Gaal.
