CHELSEA-Blues target denies Bayern deal

Chelsea have been boosted by the news Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels insists he is not joining Bayern Munich.

The Germany international began his career with Bayern but he left the club in 2009. Dortmund insisted last month that the defender had asked to rejoin his former side, much to the disgust of the club's fans.

Chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke admitted Dortmund would only sell the 27-year-old for a 'non-negotiable' fee, but Hummels has now claimed he is unhappy how the club have handled the situation.

Speaking to supporters from his car, Hummels was caught on camera saying: "This sh***y statement has made a misleading expression. I have no idea why they had to do it.

"Everything is possible and nothing is decided yet."

Chelsea are known to be keen on Hummels as they look to sign a new central defender and the fact it is not a done deal with Bayern, leaves the door open for them to swoop.

Manchester United are also in the hunt so Hummels will not be short of options.
