Borussia Dortmund may have won 5-1 on Saturday at home to Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, but it was not an easy afternoon for Mats Hummels.
The German World Cup winner has infuriated the passionate Borussia Dortmund support in recent days, by pushing for a move to Bayern Munich in the coming weeks.
Hummels came through the ranks at Bayern Munich but for Dortmund supporters, this very public desertion is a real kick in the teeth.
The likes of Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze have previously made the move from Borussia Dortmund to Bayern Munich and you have to question how the Bundesliga operates when the best team continually pillages the second best side.

On Saturday, Borussia Dortmund supporters made their feelings known to Hummels, with whistles every time he touched the ball.
And, they held up a banner which pretty much sums up how Dortmund supporters are feeling:
“The captain is leaving the ship. The sooner the better.”
Incredibly, Hummels spoke to the Ruhr Nachrichten after the game, and still did not quite get the anger.
See the translated quotes below, which are pretty incredible considering how Hummels has behaved over the past couple of weeks.
And, that Borussia Dortmund still have a DFB Pokal final to play against Bayern Munich before the end of the season.
Mats Hummels: “It was a small part of the fans who were against me today. Fans who never always loved me in the first place.” 1/2— Sandra Goldschmidt (@SanBorussia) April 30, 2016
Mats Hummels: “It is okay for me. Emotions belong to the game, but I want to emphasize that it weren’t 80,000, it weren’t even 8,000.” 2/2— Sandra Goldschmidt (@SanBorussia) April 30, 2016
