Arsenal and Manchester United have been alerted following revelations that Borussia Dortmund are hoping to secure a new deal for star man Ilkay Gundogan, The Sun reports.
The 25-year-old is also linked with a switch to Liverpool as all three Premier League clubs look to lure him to England after he snubbed a previous contract extension.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is expected to see a host of midfielders leave in the summer, with Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky amongst those tipped for an exit.

The Red Devils have also been in the market for another central midfielder as they begin preparations for life without veteran star Michael Carrick, who is yet to be given a new deal.
However, Dortmund chief executive Hans Joachim Watzke has revealed that Gundogan is a vital member of the squad and is keen to see him continue his stay.
“I don’t know if Ilkay will leave this summer. Ilkay is a very important player for us,” he said.
“But to be at Borussia is a special thing. We are in the best 10 clubs in Europe and to go to another club is a risk. We want to give him a longer contract.
“We will see what his decision is. But we are very relaxed about this.”
The Germany international has already featured 36 times in all competitions this term, so far scoring three goals while providing another seven assists.
