Having tied 2-2 in their prior encounter, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is not convinced that the Bavarians’ two away goals provide them with 100 percent assurances of going through to the next stage
As his team prepare for the return leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie against Juventus, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has warned that the job is far from done.
The Bundesliga Champions looked home and dry after taking a two-goal lead 55 minutes into the match, until they squandered their advantage at the Juventus Stadium and allowed the Bianconeri to salvage a 2-2 draw.
Despite possessing two away goals ahead of welcoming the Old Lady to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, the 60-year-old has insisted that the tie is far from decided.

“The 2-2 draw does not give many guarantees or make us feel any safer,” Rummenigge said. “Against Juve, it’s not much of a cushion.
“We are in a good position [in terms of the scoreline] though and now we must go out to prove our superiority again.”
Bayern will have to do so without Javi Martinez however, who is back in training but is unlikely to feature in midweek. Arjen Robben could play at the weekend to get a few minutes under his belt ahead of Wednesday’s match.
With Juventus impressing against Sassuolo on Friday, Bayern will be eager to send out a message of their own when they play host to Werder Bremen on Saturday.
