The Bundesliga 2015/16 season has come to a close, and there has been a number of stand-out goal scorers.
The totals from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund added up to a massive 162, with both teams far above the rest of Germany’s top teams. Many of their players found the net more than once during the season.
You can’t forget the performances from players at third place Bayer Leverkusen to bottom-of-the-table Hannover 96 however. Some players helped their team grab a spot in either the Champions League or the Europa League for next season, while others like Claudio Pizarro for Werder Bremen, or Sandro Wagner for SV Darmstadt 98, helped keep their team in the German top tier for another season.
The top ten scorers made up 175 of the goals in the Bundesliga this season, and 107 of them were from the top five in the league.
