Former Aston Villa defender Kodi Lyons-Foster agrees short-term contract at Bristol City

BRISTOL City have offered teenage defender Kodi Lyons-Foster an opportunity to rebuild his career at Ashton Gate.

Released by Aston Villa at the end of last season, the former Tottenham trainee has agreed the terms of a short-term contract with the Robins and will feature in the Championship club's under-21 development squad at the start of next season.

A strong, ball-winning centre-back, who can also play in midfield, Lyons-Foster impressed during a trial spell with City in May.

Hampered by injuries at Villa last season, he did not make a single appearances for the Midland club's under-21 side after graduating from the Academy.
